Grisia, a one-day open-air exhibition, is a long-standing event that was first held in 1967. Traditionally, it took place on the second Sunday of August, when artists would bring their works out of their studios and exhibit them along Grisia Street, from which the exhibition borrowed its name and which became a hallmark of Rovinj’s art life.
After a five-year break, the event was revived in 2025. It was organized by the Open University of the City of Rovinj – Rovigno and the City Museum of Rovinj – Rovigno, continuing the tradition and creating a unique space for encounters between artists and the public. Grisia brings together artists of different generations, joining creative approaches and artistic poetics.
