Archaeological Collection
The Archeological Collection comprises 1785 inventoried objects dating from prehistory to the contemporary period. The archaeological material came to the museum as a gift, as accidental finds or during archeological research (Mateotti Square in Rovinj, St. Michael near Bale, Karaštak, St. Thomas, Veštar). The objects in the custody of the archeological collection are testimonies to a wealth of tangible and intangible culture of the people who have inhabited the area since prehistoric times.
