Peter Teichmann, born on 21 April 1937 in Moritzburg (Saxony). - Second son of the physicist Horst Teichmann and his wife Brunhilde, born Kircher. 1939 Move to Berlin, later via Würzburg to Nuremberg (Land of Bavaria). - In Nuremberg, visit a business school with a high commercial school. 1955 Start of business at the German merchant marina. - Service on different ships, at different shipping companies. - From 1960 to 1962 visit to the seafaring school in Lübeck (Land Schleswig-Holstein). Afterwards service as ship officer at the shipping company Norddeutscher Lloyd in Bremen (Land Bremen). - 1965 Visiting the University of Bremen, Department of Nautics, graduation with the patent A6 / AG, captain on Great Ride. - From 1966 serving as guard and cargo officer on various freight ships of the North German Lloyd. 1967 Change to a profession on land. - Training as a programmer in electronic data processing at IBM and SIEMENS in Frankfurt am Main. - Then work as a programmer of large computers in the data center of a Max Planck Institute. - From 1971 computer center manager. 1989 Change to an institute of the society for mathematics and data processing in Darmstadt (Land Hesse). - Working as a research assistant. - Retired since 1 August 2001.
